Bring the AI you already use. TheWorldTable runs as an MCP server - MCP is an open protocol, so any MCP-capable client can play. Your AI narrates the adventure and covers its own usage, while our server rolls every die with a seeded generator, enforces the D&D 5e and Pathfinder 2e rules, and remembers your world - cheat-proof, run to run. It works in any MCP client; it is smoothest on Claude (Claude Code or Claude Desktop). BYO is solo only - co-op party play is on the web tier.
Log in first
You need to be signed in to your LoomMaster account to mint a key.
MCP keys come with BYO ($49.99 one-time, solo only) and the web tier ($29.99/mo, includes co-op party play). Get either to mint a key and connect your AI.
The key is shown once - copy it now. It authenticates your AI to your account
and stays valid while your plan is active.
Your new key (copy it now - you won't see it again):
2. Add it to your MCP client
Claude Code (CLI) - one command (replace the key if you didn't just mint one):
Claude Desktop - add this to your config file, then restart Claude:
Config file location -
macOS:~/.claude/claude_desktop_config.jsonWindows:%APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json.
Claude Desktop reaches the server through the mcp-remote bridge (it downloads
automatically the first time via npx).
Any other MCP-capable client - point it at the server URL https://theworldtable.ai/mcp/v1 with an Authorization: Bearer <your key> header. The exact config shape varies by client; the two above are the smoothest worked examples. The server speaks standard MCP over HTTP, so any compliant client connects.
3. Play
In your client, ask it to start a LoomMaster session. Your AI narrates; our engine
rolls the dice, enforces the rules, and keeps your world. Each dispatch counts 1 drop against
your 10,000/month - no AI usage is billed by us (your AI provider covers that).
