Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TheWorldTable.ai and its products and websites, including the LoomMaster AI tabletop role-playing game and the Mythcore:Omniveil world (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, starting a free trial, subscribing, making any purchase, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Service.

TheWorldTable.ai ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") - the trade name held by Sunisa Chaichan under Thai Department of Business Development (DBD) individual commercial registration - operates the Service. We may modify these Terms from time to time; we will post the revised Terms with an updated "Last Updated" date and, for material changes, give reasonable notice through the Service or by email. Your continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms incorporate by reference our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

2. Description of Service

LoomMaster is a single-player Dungeons & Dragons 5e-style role-playing experience run by an AI "Director" (the Loom), played in your web browser. It pairs a server-authoritative, deterministic rules engine (real seeded dice, enforced 5e rules, a tamper-evident event chain) with AI-written narration powered by Anthropic's Claude models (smart-routed per turn). Mythcore:Omniveil is our broader persistent AI world built on the same Loom Engine. The Service includes:

• Interactive, AI-narrated single-player gameplay, characters, scenes, combat, loot, and persistent campaign/world state;
• User accounts, gameplay progress, and an append-only chained audit ledger that records purchases and in-world events;
• A free trial and paid access plans (see Section 4 and the pricing page), including a recurring monthly subscription, a one-time "bring your own AI" (BYO) entitlement that is solo only, and a limited one-time founder purchase (the Mirror Shard);
• An in-world budget unit ("Veil Essence" / "drops") that meters AI usage, subject to a monthly per-household ceiling (see Section 4.5);
• Optional integrations (for example, connecting your own AI client over the Model Context Protocol where offered) and community or public features.

The Service is for entertainment only. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, with reasonable notice for material changes. The Service is currently in active, ongoing development; features and content may change, and occasional interruptions may occur.

2A. AI-Generated Content - Important Disclaimer

• All AI-generated content is fictional entertainment. It is not, and must not be relied on as, professional advice of any kind (legal, medical, financial, psychological, or otherwise).
• While our rules engine resolves game mechanics deterministically (dice, hit points, rules), the surrounding AI narration is creative writing and may not be factually correct or internally consistent.
• AI systems can occasionally produce content that is offensive, disturbing, or otherwise objectionable despite our safeguards. By using the Service you acknowledge this inherent risk. You can report problematic output to [email protected].
• The AI may depict mature themes consistent with fantasy adventure fiction. The Service is intended for adults (see Section 3.2).
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for actions you take in reliance on AI-generated content.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

3.2 Age Requirement (18+)

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your place of residence, if higher) to create an account, start a free trial, subscribe, or make any purchase. The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If we learn that an account belongs to a person under 18, we may suspend or delete it.

3.3 Account Security

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account. The Company is not responsible for losses resulting from unauthorized use of your account due to compromised credentials.

4. Payments, Subscriptions and Billing

4.1 Prices, currency and payment processor

Any local-currency figure shown elsewhere on the site is an approximate convenience conversion only; you are charged the USD amount. We do not store your card number, PayPal password, or full billing details on our servers - PayPal holds those. We retain only the transaction identifiers, amount, currency, plan/SKU, and status needed for accounting, entitlement, and refunds. Where applicable, taxes (e.g. VAT/GST) may be added at checkout or handled by the processor.

4.2 Free trial

We may offer a free trial (currently 100 Veil Essence of AI usage) that lets you try LoomMaster without payment. The trial does not require a payment method and does not automatically convert into a paid subscription - you only pay if you affirmatively choose to subscribe or purchase. Trial allowances are promotional, have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. One trial per person/household; we may void trials obtained through abuse.

4.3 Subscriptions (recurring billing)

• Auto-renewal. When you subscribe, you authorize us and PayPal to charge the then-current subscription fee to your payment method at the start of each monthly billing period, automatically, until you cancel. Your billing date is the date your subscription began (or the nearest valid date in shorter months).
• How to cancel. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current paid period, by (a) cancelling the recurring payment / "automatic payments" agreement in your PayPal account, and/or (b) emailing [email protected] from your account email. We will confirm cancellation.
• Effect of cancellation. Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep paid access until the end of the period you have already paid for; we do not provide pro-rated refunds for the unused part of a paid month except where required by law or as stated in the Refund Policy.
• Price changes. We may change subscription prices or inclusions. We will give you reasonable advance notice (by email or in-app) before a change affects your renewals; the new price applies from your next billing cycle after the notice period, and you may cancel before then if you do not agree.
• Failed payments. If a renewal charge fails, we may retry, suspend paid features, and/or cancel the subscription. You remain responsible for amounts properly due for periods already provided.

4.4 One-time purchases

• BYO (Bring Your Own AI), one-time. USD $49.99, charged once through PayPal as a one-time order (NOT a subscription). It grants a permanent entitlement that does not expire or auto-renew: you connect your own MCP-capable AI client (smoothest on Claude) and play through it. You bring and pay for your own AI provider; TheWorldTable bills only the cheat-proof engine (one drop per dispatch). You receive the same single-player content and rules as the monthly web tier; BYO is solo only - co-op party play is a web-tier mode.
• Mirror Shard (founder, currently USD $249, one-time). A limited founder purchase (offered to the first 200 buyers) that grants lifetime access to the web plan, a founder badge, and a founder aura and frame (and a gold Charter set for the first 50). It is a single charge and does not auto-renew. "Lifetime" means for as long as we operate the Service (see Sections 9 and 12); it is not a guarantee of perpetual operation.
• Top-up packs ("Drop Packs"). Not currently offered. Drop Packs are deferred to the multiplayer era and are not sold today; there is no purchase path for them in the current single-player Service. If introduced later, they are consumable virtual currency (drops / Veil Essence) and are non-refundable once spent.
• Non-transferable. Purchases, entitlements, in-world currency, and accounts are personal to you and may not be sold, transferred, or assigned except where we expressly provide a gifting mechanism.
• No real-world value. Veil Essence, drops, gold, loot, and other in-world items have no monetary value, are not your property, and cannot be exchanged for cash except via the refund mechanics in the Refund Policy.

4.5 AI-usage budget and monthly ceiling

Paid access includes an allowance of AI usage measured in "Veil Essence" / "drops". Each household is subject to a ceiling of 10,000 drops per calendar month, reset at midnight Asia/Bangkok time. The ceiling is a budget-protection measure against runaway bugs or abuse and sits well above normal play. If your legitimate use needs a higher ceiling, contact [email protected] and we will consider lifting it case-by-case.

4.6 Billing disputes and chargebacks

If you believe you were charged in error, contact us first at [email protected] within 30 days with your PayPal transaction id; we resolve genuine billing issues in good faith. Filing a bank/PayPal chargeback without contacting us first may result in suspension of your account and entitlements pending resolution. We process chargebacks through the same reversal flow as refunds.

4.7 Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary: you may cancel a subscription at any time to stop future charges; because the Service delivers digital content and AI usage immediately, fees already charged are generally non-refundable except for billing errors, duplicate charges, unauthorized transactions, or where a non-waivable consumer-protection law (such as an EU/UK statutory withdrawal right) requires otherwise. 4.8 Founder purchases are contributions, not investments

Optional founder/supporter purchases help fund development. They are not investments: you are not buying shares, equity, or a financial return, and there is nothing to invest in - TheWorldTable.ai is a small Thai sole proprietorship. You receive the stated digital perks immediately on payment. A purchase is not a tax-deductible charitable contribution. Where a purchase results in a public supporter/founder listing that shows your chosen display name, you consent to that public display; you may request removal, renaming, or anonymization at [email protected] (this does not by itself constitute a refund).

5. Intellectual Property and User Content

5.1 Ownership and Trademarks

Mythcore:Omniveil, the Loom Engine, the Director, and all associated game design, content, graphics, music, code, names, and logos are the property of TheWorldTable.ai, the trade name held by Sunisa Chaichan under Thai Department of Business Development (DBD) individual commercial registration (verify at /dbd.html). "Mythcore," "Omniveil," "Mythcore:Omniveil," "TheWorldTable.ai," and "the Loom" are trademarks. AI narration is powered by Anthropic's Claude models, via the Anthropic API. Claude is a trademark of Anthropic. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

5.2 User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create, upload, or submit through the Service (including gameplay data, user-generated content, or communications). You grant us a limited license to use that content solely to operate, secure, debug, and provide the Service to you. We do not use your content to train or fine-tune AI models - not our own, and we do not grant any third party the right to do so (see Privacy Policy Section 2.4).

5.3 Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Reproduce, distribute, or transmit game content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Create derivative works based on our content
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
• Use the Service for commercial purposes without authorization

5.4 Co-Creator Program

The Co-Creator program - designing in-world content such as a custom creature, item set, or boss - is not currently offered. It will open with Mythcore: Omniveil, the MMORPG, under its own published terms.

6. User Conduct

You agree that you will not:

• Engage in harassment, bullying, or abusive behavior toward other users
• Post offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to hack, cheat, or gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service
• Engage in fraud, identity theft, or other illegal activities
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to circumvent payment systems or obtain unauthorized access to premium features

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THE COMPANY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

7.2 Liability Cap

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

THE COMPANY'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO THE COMPANY IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

7.3 Your Responsibility

You assume all risks associated with your use of the Service. You are solely responsible for any damage to your devices or loss of data resulting from your use of the Service.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The World Table (creator of Mythcore:Omniveil), its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable law
• Your use of the Service
• Content you create or submit through the Service

9. Termination

9.1 User Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon termination, your access to the Service will be revoked, but your data will be retained as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

9.2 Company Termination

The Company may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in illegal activities
• Attempt to circumvent security or payment systems
• Harass or threaten other users

9.3 Effects of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Refunds for prior one-time purchases (the BYO entitlement, the Mirror Shard, custom Founder pledges) are governed exclusively by the Refund Policy and are not granted by reason of termination alone. Digital purchases cannot be transferred or recovered. Your name on the Founders' Wall is removed at termination unless you affirmatively request preservation of the public listing.

9A. Third-Party Game Systems and Open-Licensed Content

The Service is compatible with Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition (5e) and with Pathfinder Second Edition, and includes rules content used under open licenses: the System Reference Document 5.1 ("SRD 5.1") is used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0); Pathfinder Second Edition rules content is used under Paizo Inc.'s Open RPG Creative License (ORC) and/or the Open Game License v1.0a, as applicable. The Service is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Wizards of the Coast LLC or Paizo Inc. "Dungeons & Dragons," "D&D," "Pathfinder," and related names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only nominatively, to describe compatibility. We do not use the Product Identity or other reserved/closed content of those publishers. The required open-license attribution notices are provided within the Service.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

You agree that any legal action or proceeding relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand. You waive any objection based on inconvenient forum and any claim that such proceeding is brought in an inappropriate venue.

11. Third-Party Services

11.1 Payment Processing

Mythcore:Omniveil uses PayPal for payment processing. Your use of PayPal's services is subject to PayPal's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for PayPal's practices or any issues arising from payment processing.

11.2 Disclaimer

We are not responsible for third-party services, including their availability, functionality, or privacy practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms and conditions.

12. Modifications to Service

The Company reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue the Service or any features at any time with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the Service following modifications constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

13. Technical Support

The Company provides technical support to help you use the Service. Support is provided on a best-effort basis. While we strive to respond to support inquiries promptly, response times may vary depending on volume and complexity.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, or if not possible, shall be severed. The remaining provisions shall continue in full effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TheWorldTable.ai (Sunisa Chaichan, DBD-registered) regarding your use of Mythcore:Omniveil. If there is any conflict between these documents, the Refund Policy controls refund mechanics, and these Terms of Service control everything else.
